CONDUCTOR PROCESSING

Fast, efficient conductor processing is achieved with our three fully adjustable machines. Processing of copper and aluminum conductors up to six inches wide and in thicknesses from 0.005 inches through 0.125 inches is easily accomplished.

ELECTRIFIED CORE MAGNET REWINDING

Our versatile equipment can easily adapt to changing technologies. Magnets are rewound on three constant torque, constant tension machines using Class H fiberglass and Nomex materials. All winding equipment is custom-designed, as is our proprietary conductor straightener and camber control device that salvages crushed conductor. THERMAL TURN DIFFERENTIAL TEST

Readings are taken as the tester slowly moves the thermographic imager over the coil looking for hot spots. After each layer is wound, and at full assembly, the following tests are performed: step-surge, impedance, resistance, thermal turn differential and high potential ground. The computerized reports generated during testing are a valuable tool for assessing future performance.
