Documentation

After all components have been repaired, test documentation is examined and, if satisfactory, assembly begins. During this process, electrical components are megger tested; air gaps, bearing clearances, gear mesh, seal clearances and bearing preloads are measured and/or set. An acute awareness of each component's function is needed so that the sum of all parts delivers the desired performance and reliability.
