Repair/Remanufacture

Magnets received in our shop are thoroughly inspected and evaluated prior to repair. Then, if necessary, precisely machined open using one of our 112-inch vertical boring mills. This is the preferred method of opening since case integrity is protected and a consistent weld zone is created for ease of reassembly. This procedure also enhances efficient magnetic flux transfer.

Disassembly and reassembly of large lifting magnet components are easily performed using a 200-ton puller press.
