Industrial lifting magnets, also called scrapyard magnets, lift the world. They can be found in steel mills, scrap yards, shipyards, stamping plants or anyplace where metal needs to be moved around.
These devices are basic work horses that pick up steel and place it where it needs to go. They are made in round and rectangular shapes, and are usually attached to a crane.
Lifting magnets lift pipe, steel plate, steel scrap and…well, just name it. This technology has been around well over 100 years and will never become obsolete.
