The state chose the Mahoning Valley for the first cabinet day outside of Columbus. During the cabinet day, Deborah Ashenhurst, the Director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, stopped by CMT and presented OhioMeansJobs Challenge Coins to the Veterans. Skilled trades story time at Barnes and Noble
CMT participated in a skilled trades story time at Barnes and Noble in Boardman, Ohio, to celebrate National Skilled Trades Day. Children were read books about skilled trades and different careers. After story time, children played dress up in skilled trades uniforms while their parents took pictures.
